Attention all incoming 6th graders and current 6th/7th graders who want to audition for Hoover Performing Arts classes,

The end of the year is fast approaching and that means that we have to start planning for next school year! Recently, you completed your Elective Preference Forms that gave us an idea of which electives you are interested in for next year. If your choices included any of audition electives, please ensure that you read the entirety of this message!

For students currently not in Drama, but who are interested in the Audition Drama course as their elective, please use this link to sign up for an audition with the amazing Mrs. Jordan! Auditions will be held between March 30th and April 3rd. 

For our other Audition Level courses, the Audition schedule is a as follows: 
Tuesday, March 31st, 2026 - Dance Auditions 3:30 - 6 pm
Wednesday April 1st, 2026 - Drama 3:15 - 4:20 pm; Band/Mariachi 3:20 - 4:30 pm, Orchestra 3:30 - 4:30 pm
Thursday April 2nd, 2026 - Choir 3:30 - 4:00, Band/Mariachi 3:20 - 4:30 pm, and Orchestra 3:30 - 4:30 pm

And by appointment with the instructor. Please contact the instructor via parent square to set up an appointment if you are not able to make one of the above dates and times.
